                        Cohoes Falls

 These falls, on the Mohawk river, are the second-largest in New York State after Niagara Falls, and are entrancingly  spectacular in their own way. As with many falls, these have a history of connecting people with the spiritual.

I was lucky to be there on a beautiful day when the falls were in full flow  -much of the water is often diverted to provide power to an electric-generating plant there.
