I painted this for me. Whenever I look at this painting, I can feel how it was to ride Willy into the trail through the woods, and can almost lean down and give him a pat on his neck once again.

My daughter Gillian asked me to memorialize a beloved horse of hers, now deceased, in a painting. Here, Gillian and LJR Caviarr forever ride together sidesaddle, as they once did.
